Are we really living in the end times?
COVID. Black Lives Matter. The great resignation. Inflation. Mass shootings. Petrol. Gas and electricity. Abortion rights.
So much has happened in the last 3 years. There are even talks of a recession.
Listen, I couldn’t tell you what’s coming. But I would advise you to stay prayed up for real.
I could have tackled this topic from numerous angles. It could have been an essay-type article with hella information and links to other websites. Or I could have done an extensive history of the origins of this topic. I could have done a number of things.
But guess what?
I’m finna do what I want to do and write what I want to write, expressing what is on my heart. As well as including useful and interesting bits of information that I’ve found, and things that I’ve learned.
People need to grow a pair
The way I see the world right now, it’s like you’re not allowed to disagree with something. It’s like, if your opinion differs from the majority you’re seen as the villain. Then at the same time, people will scream freedom of speech.
I can’t keep up man.
I also feel like society likes to impose views, thoughts and ideologies onto you. I’m sorry, but just because everyone agrees with something or does something that doesn’t make it right. The majority isn’t always correct. What if both sides are even incorrect? What if the blind is really leading the blind?
The world is also so sensitive nowadays. As in,
sensitive. People really need to grow a pair and grow up. It’s quite childish.Every other day, one influencer is giving an apology on socials, and every other day someone is getting temporarily cancelled.
When will people rest? When will people tire from being offended? It’s actually enough.
Christianity and abortion
Anyways, I think sometimes Christians like to shy away from certain topics.
What’s one of those silly sayings: ‘your silence speaks volumes’ or ‘your silence is complicity‘. I shouldn’t actually call them silly sayings because they’re not silly – let me not digress.
But I sometimes think, where are the Martin Luther King’s of our generation? Where are the Rosa Parks’ of our generation? Where are the Nelson Mandela’s of our generation? Where are the people willing to die for what they believe? Where are the people ready to die on that hill?
Where are the Christians?
We are still fighting for women’s rights – why?
Ngl, these talks of abortion really came out of the blue. Well, to me that is. Out of nowhere I’m hearing people protesting about abortion rights and how it’s impacting politics.
I’m thinking hello, 21st century. Why are abortion rights even a thing right now?
I thought we were past this and people were finally okay with women having rights.
You know, women vote now, they go to work, they own houses, and some women earn more than men. I thought progress was being made.
Clearly not?
Or so I thought…
There’s always more to it
I learned that sometimes you really need to see things with your spiritual eyes.
It’s even crazy because you may not know that you’re even in spiritual blindness. You might need to make that a prayer point still.
There’s deffo more to this abortion law than meets the eye.
Why are politicians so pressed about abortion? Surely there are more important matters to deal with?
When it comes to Christianity and abortion, what is the church saying?
I’ve learned so much over the past couple months that I’m going to share xx

This song has nothing to do with the topic of Christianity and abortion, but I just love the song
